What makes our school work is the great support from our parents at LACES. It’s not surprising to know that when parents are involved with the school, students do better. These days, schools are asked to do more with less. That means our help is needed more than ever to fill the gaps. Volunteer opportunities at LACES are always available.
What Can I Do To Help?
Volunteering doesn’t always mean making time to come to school - you may be a whiz at grant writing or planning an event, things you can do from home. Let us know how you can help by filling out the Volunteer Form!
Below are some activities for this year - let us know your skills and how you can help support our school!
If you can’t help during school hours, there are many other ways you can also help! If your business, the company you work for, or anyone you might know that can offer services or donations such as printing, food for events, etc., please let us know!
Where Can I Find Volunteer Opportunites at LACES?
A great way to get the earliest calls for volunteers is by joining the LACES Yahoo eGroup. You can also check the LACES website or stop by the Parent Center and sign up to volunteer for upcoming events!
Also, check out our new Friends of LACES Blog for the latest news and get socialable with the new Friends of LACES Facebook Page!
The Parent Center is located on the first floor of the main building, across from Room 103.
Friends of LACES meets on the 2nd Wednesday of the month at 7.00 p.m. in the school library.
